Mission
AFRICaide is a grassroots non-profit organization that strives to reduce abject poverty in Africa through rural development projects, and to empower and assist women and girls victims of rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo in rebuilding their lives.
Goals
Promotes basic health care and education in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
• Supports the rights of and protects Congolese women living in the war-ridden eastern provinces (Kivu provinces)
• Helps build a future for Congolese women and girls victim of rape
• Curbs malnutrition and infectious diseases, particularly malaria and HIV/AIDS
• Promotes protection and conservation of the environment through participatory development
